Synopsis and Characters:
Set in the 1920’s, two unlikely occult investigators seek to uncover a dark conspiracy that threatens the very existence of our world. The two investigators are:
Charlene Dexter Ward – a clairvoyant who faked her ability to swindle the gullible out of cash until one day she realised she actually could speak with the dead. She had a vision about the end of the world and how it was connected to a murderous cult with agents embedded in all walks of society and vows to uncover it all and avert apocalypse. She is joined by her best friend…
Miriam Poe – a sceptical journalist who grew up on the streets, but never lost the dream of becoming a writer and bringing the plight of the poor to the public eye. She was about to expose Charlene as a fraud but witnessed her during the apocalyptic vision and couldn’t deny its truth. However, she is still more inclined to view Charlene’s intuitions with scepticism.
They are pitted against series villain:
Lillian Vess – a fabulously rich socialite, charity fundraiser, friend to the police and press, descendant of old European nobility….and High Priestess of The Gibbous Eye, a cult set upon the destruction of the world.
